At the Douaniers point which is also called Cap Fleuri, a small flat rocky formation that has been sought after for a long time both by the Prince of Monaco and the comune of La Turbie (Cap d'Ail was its seaside area until 1907) ; was used as a battery with up to 14 artillerymen, 1 watchman and a gunpowder deposit.

Suffice it to suggest the panoramic view from this small plateau set between the villa where Winston Churchill stayed and the one where Greta Garbo used to relax.

You get there from the Basse Corniche and the Avenue "Winston Churchill" by road, or by foot with the Chemin des Douaniers , the beautiful path that meanders through villas of great prestige. Starting east from the Fontvieille harbour in Monaco or starting the west from the Mala Beach.
